22.2.2024 Tour in NL
"Definitely take a look" writes the Haubentaucher Graz. In the neighbouring country, the Netherlands, you will soon have time to do so: Compañía de Circo "eia" is preparing for a short tour at the end of March: Drachten (28.3.), Alkmaar (29.3.), Meppel (30.3.), Utrecht (31.3.), Waalwijk (2.4.). Before that, "eia" will be on the Mediterranean island of Malta - and immediately afterwards "eia" will be playing at the Circo Price in Madrid. As you can see: NUYE fits in (almost) all theatres, whether small or large, NUYE is quickly set up - and as it is language-free, suitable for any audience. We are currently looking for follow-up dates in March 2025.

Companyia de circo "eia" is looking forward to sharing the last days of the year with the public and enjoying new experiences in new settings with NUYE on Dec 29 at Alte Reithalle Aarau and Dec 30 + 31 at Burghof Lörrach.

Waking up in a lonely place after isolation; we feel we are missing something.
We begin an inner search until we collide with the outside world, and we realise the need to seek and connect with the other, with other people; to be able to touch them, shake hands, share a hug, be together...
NUYE is a circus and choreographic proposal for six acrobats that starts from the exploration of the dynamics of couple/duo/partner relationships and that reflects the comings and goings between self and others, in a constant search to feel complete. Hand to hand, banquines and icarian games take place on a stage, occupied by a carefully crafted wall that comes to life, with its doors, hinges, openings and diving board, which like us, reveals many faces.

All pieces of Compañía de Circo „eia“ center around the human being and the human relationship. Capas (2012) is about the family, inTarsi (2016) is the first circus group to receive the Premio Max award in 2017 and tells about balance between individual and community. NUYE (2021) explores respect and acceptance - let's look forward to its premiere at the GREC Festival in Barcelona in July 2021.
